Mark has over 30 years of experience supporting government agencies and international organizations on various environmental management planning activities. Mark's experience includes extensive practical project and program management. In addition to private and national government clients, Mark has also managed programs for the Agency for International Development, The World Bank, and EPA Office of International Activities dealing with various issues in developing countries.

Mark has been working and living in the Middle East for the past 7 years and has experience with environmental regulatory regimes in Saudi Arabia (PME and Royal Commission), Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, and Oman. Between 2005 and 2008, Mark managed a staff of 50 on a project to support the Royal Commission Environmental Control Department in Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Most recently, he was Principal Consultant and the Oil and Gas sector lead with ERM Abu Dhabi where he managed a variety of projects in the Oil & Gas production and downstream sectors.

For the past two years, Dr. Saeger has served as the Manager of the Environmental Division of ARM Associates. In this role, he has managed several projects to prepare Environmental Impact Assessments and Permit Application Packages for new industrial developments in Jubail Industrial City. He has significant contract management experience and has authored over 40 major technical reports and numerous smaller project reports. He has presented research results at numerous technical meetings.
